sums up Fimap's strategies and thoughts in today's market.
Fimap has always demonstrated its great respect for both people and the environment through the important
certifications it has obtained over the years:

• ISO 14001:2004 focusing on respect for the environment;
• ROHS 2002/95/EC, the directive requiring the use of recyclable materials for product manufacture;
• OHSAS 18001:2007 for commitment to safety protection.
Furthermore, Fimap products are designed in compliance with European standards and regulations: all its
products are electromagnetically compatible in compliance with directive EN 50366 on electromagnetic field
emissions of machines at frequencies which interact with the human body, and directives EN 61000 on the
immunity of machines from electromagnetic fields in residential environments and on emission levels required
in the workplace.

Thanks to the SustainableCleaningProject, innovative systems have been developed to ensure machine sustainability:
FSS, Fimap Solution Saver, the water and detergent measurement system with micrometric adjustment: the minimum amount of fluid for the best cleaning result with the least environmental impact - water waste and detergent consumption are reduced by 50%.
FNC, Fimap Noise Canceling, the system that ensures reduced noise pollution (58db(A)).
FES, Fimap Energy Saver, the system which provides 35% lower energy consumption also thanks to the Echo ON/OFF device which stops brushes and water flow when the machine is idle.
Painstaking attention to design, aesthetics and ergonomics: reduced
dimensions, optimised package and transport with guaranteed performance and ease of use, simple and
minimal maintenance thanks to easy and user-friendly access to all internal machine components, longer
operating autonomy and compact design.
Raw materials are selected with the aim of recycling most of the components in order to reduce the
environmental impact.
The SustainableCleaningProject has allowed us to streamline the product range and optimise production processes.
Today, there are two lines available:
Easy Line
...ideal for cleaning areas up to 1,000 sq.m., thereby opening up a new market for automated cleaning systems.
Professionale Line
...ideal for the maintenance and deep-down cleaning of areas of over 1,000 sq.m, where optimised cleaning costs are required.
For 2009 Fimap chose to concentrate on the most important specialised journals, via advertising-editorials
composed on the one hand of a fixed institutional part expressing the global concept of the SustainableCleaningProject,
and on the other hand of a free part analysing specific topics relating to the company's latest innovative systems and
applied to the various machine models.
It's a choice resulting from the needs of our target customers, who are showing more and more interest
in specialised information aimed at training and informing, and therefore at developing better sectorial
skills.
Together with the planned sectorial advertising, there's also a solid information campaign via press
releases in the daily newspapers and national magazines, with the aim of focusing on the most important
company initiatives involving public opinion on sustainability topics...
Fimap focuses on communicating the objective analysis of savings in working costs, testifying the
